Weekly Plans are UP for the Big Kids!
I have posted the weekly school plans for the Big Kids - ages 8-12. Woo hoo!
Each day they have Bible time with you and the family, reading, language arts and math. Then each day pick one elective - baking, history, science, crafting or PE.
You can view the Supply List HERE and see the weekly plans HERE. September through December are live now, and January through May will post shortly. (The whole year will follow the same structure.)
There is really no need for formal schooling until about age 7 (See 'Better Late Than Early' by Dr. Raymond & Dorothy Moore for more). So this block of time is when school REALLY kicks off and gets going! We want it to be a WONDERFUL experience!!! We want to foster a love for learning, not make school something that our kids dread. So have fun! Adjust as needed to make it work for you!
