Our New Year's Surprise! 🎉

With SO much coming up in the New Year for The Minimalist Homeschool - new vlogs, Bible Studies, free homeschool plans, and more - plus some HUGE changes in the works for our family -- there was one key detail we've been working on for months now that's really the BIGGEST part of it all!

We kind of can't believe it ourselves, and we've (obviously) known for a while.
Everything (knock on wood) is looking good as of now, we have one set date for a repeat scheduled c-section (as all of mine have been) but with a liver issue I've been having we may have to get her out a little early. But that's still a work in progress at the moment. Latest we'll be meeting our little one will by the 24th of January, and I think we're all more than ready!
We did run into multiple health related things throughout the pregnancy, so it just seemed better to keep this to ourselves until we knew for sure. And then the idea of surprising everyone right before she got here was so fun! SURPRISE! 🎉
You heard the girls refer to her as "Baby Jael" as that is the Biblical name the kids picked out shortly after we told them, and they've referred to her as such ever since. 😜 We thought more about the proper, Hebrew pronunciation and it just wasn't what felt right to the hubby and me. We've got some names we're kicking around, but for me-- I have to see each of my babies to really know what the name should be. So- no final answer until we meet her!
We're currently in a massive state of uncertainty with what direction we'll be headed in 2018, Lord willing. And I can't wait to discuss more of that soon. We're looking at big changes to our family business, a bigger shift to the work we do here at on our vlog, the start to my husband's ministry missions, potential moves, and really putting our homeschool plans to the test considering I'll be looking at a baby, a Little, a Big Kid and a Teen to wrangle for the new school year! Phew- we'll be busy busy! And I cannot wait.
