Minimalist Homeschool, party of 6!!!
TOMORROW
This whole pregnancy has had some medical things popping up, which is the main reason we just kept it to ourselves until the end, but having her come early will put us both at a better chance for a healthy delivery/recovery.
Although I'm a planner/coordinator by trade (literally), when it comes to my own stuff- I'm usually putting it together you know... at the very end. So with getting the surprise at the end of last week that baby was coming THIS week! We have been in a state of chaos pulling together everything one needs for a baby (as so far we had just gotten a pack of socks because they had a weenie dog on them and a sweet little lovey from my mom).
Luckily, the more babies you have and the more you practice realizing what 'stuff' you genuinely need, the list wasn't too long. And with AMAZING friends we've ended up helping their minimalist journey by way of taking in more baby gear than I think we know what to do with! 😜 But that will be a topic for another day-- baby's and their stuff, anyone else relate?
We'll try to keep the Daily Bible Studies as up to date as possible, all school plans are live through the end of the month and the remainder of the year will publish within the next couple weeks too. We'll still get the prayer requests so feel free to send in anything you need! I'm sure our Instagram will be newborn overload for anyone who needs a dose of new baby, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for family vlogs!
We'll happily take any prayers you may have, we'll be in surgery early tomorrow morning and introducing the littlest sister to the kiddos by lunch time, Lord willing.
And it's pretty much like a school vacation because my kiddos haven't done much of anything since the date got moved up! Ha! We'll get back at it, this is just such a special time! 😊
I hope the start to your 2018 school year is going well, and we're super excited for all the things to come that we are working on for this site. I guess, just bear with us as we are becoming a family of 6 a little before we thought we'd be.... and I don't have everything quite ready for the site yet. 😆 A time and a season, we'll get there.
